What conditions does Synulox treat?

It is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections which are sensitive to the antibiotics it contains. It is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections involved in skin disease, soft tissue infections, dental infections, urinary tract infections, respiratory disease and enteritis.

How does Synulox work?

It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic which treats a wide variety of bacteria by killing the bacteria.

How should I administer Synulox to my pet?

Give it orally, by mouth. Synulox Palatable Tablets are often accepted from the hand, even by sick dogs and cats. Alternatively, the tablets may be crumbled and added to a little food.

Synulox Palatable Drops are available as an alternative presentation for treating small individuals. You need to add 15 ml of water to the powder in the bottle if your vet has not done this. Read the instructions on the label your vet has written.

What is the correct dosage of Synulox for my animal's weight and species?

The correct dose for your animal is as prescribed by your vet. Your vet will follow the data sheet for the medication prescribed and for some medications will adjust this taking into consideration your animal's medical history.

How long should I continue with Synulox for?

You should continue for the length of time your vet prescribed the medication for. Please read the label your vet has attached to the medication. If you suspect that your pet may be having an adverse reaction to a medication, please contact your vet for advice on continuing the medication.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Synulox?
