is Atopica safe for cats 
Your vet will evaluate its safety for your individual cat. Cats should be over 6 months of age and over2.3 kg as safety has not been assessed at younger ages or lower weights. It can’t be used if an animal has a pre-existing cancer diagnosis or if your cat carries the viruses FIV or FELV. Cats should also be helped to avoid infection with Toxoplasma gondii by not feeding raw meat, keeping them from hunting and scavenging.It is best that any infection is cleared before starting it. It is not safe for cats with Diabetes mellitus. Its safety has not been assessed in entire male cats used for breeding, or in pregnant or lactating queens. Use of other treatments should be evaluated first.
