Indications
Treatment of bacterial respiratory tract infections in cats and dogs, due to organisms sensitive to doxycycline including: Staphylococcus aureus and other Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Bordetella bronchiseptica, and Pasteurella spp. Treatment of tick - borne Ehrlichia canis infection in dogs.
Storage & Shelf Life
This veterinary medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions. Any remaining tablet portion should be returned to the blister and given at the next administration.
Owner Handling & Safety
Tetracyclines may cause hypersensitivity (allergy) reactions. People with known hypersensitivity to tetracyclines should avoid contact with the veterinary medicinal product. Wash hands after use.
Contraindications & Warnings
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance, to other tetracyclines or to any of the excipients. Do not use in cases of dysphagia or diseases accompanied by vomiting. Do not use in animals with renal or hepatic insufficiency.
Use in Pregnancy & Lactation
Laboratory studies have not revealed any teratogenic or embryotoxic effect of doxycycline in the rat and rabbit. The safety of the veterinary medicinal product has not been established during pregnancy and lactation.
