How does Mirataz work?
It contains Mirtazipine, which is an appetite stimulant.
The efficacy of the product was only demonstrated with a 14-day administration corresponding to the current recommendations (see Amounts to be administered and administration route). It is administered trans dermally, by applying to the ear pinna (inner surface of the ear) once daily for 14 days, according to the dose prescribed by your vet.
You should wear impermeable gloves, twist the cap anticlockwise to open it, apply even pressure on the tube and squeeze a line onto your finger of the dose prescribed, then gently rub it onto the inside of your cat’s ear, spreading it evenly over the surface.
If contact with your skin occurs wash it off with soap and water.
